About

About Parsy

Household spending is the expense people understand least — the totals are on the card statement; what is inside them is not anywhere. Grocery bills are the clearest case: fifty lines, read by no one.

Parsy exists to close that gap. You photograph the receipt — whether it is the weekly shop, a tank of gas or the Target run — and the app turns it into an item-level record you can actually look at: what you bought, what it cost, what it cost last time, and — once enough households have bought the same thing — what it usually costs at that store.

We built it as a subscription rather than an advertising business on purpose. Receipt data is intimate, and there is no version of “free” that does not eventually involve selling it. The privacy commitments on this site are not a differentiator we invented for marketing; they are the reason the product is shaped the way it is. You can read them in the Privacy Policy.

Contact

Anything at all

hello@parsy.fyi

Privacy requests, legal notices, arbitration opt-outs

legal@parsy.fyi

Support, press and everything else goes to the first one; the second is the address our Privacy Policy and Terms name, so a request sent there lands where those documents promise it will be read. We do not run a contact form: a form would create a new place your data goes, and this way you keep a copy of what you sent.

The character is also called Parsy, and he is a receipt. It seemed simpler than pretending an animal understands grocery prices.
